JNA Jewellery Design Competition 2018-19 is open to all budding and professional jewellery designers as well as students and graduates from all jewellery design disciplines.
2. What is the cost of entering the competition?
JNA Jewellery Design Competition 2018/19 is free to enter.
3. How do I enter the competition?
Entries can be submitted via online, Wechat or mail from 1 Oct through to 30 Nov 2018.

4. Is it possible to participate in more than one categories of the competition?
Yes, as long as your entries meet the given guidelines. Please refer to our official website for more details.
5. Do winners have to attend any activity arranged by organiser in Hong Kong?
Winners of the competition are invited to attend the press conference of “ JNA Jewellery Design Competition 2018/19” in June 2019 in Hong Kong. Winners can apply for invitation letter from organizer for visa application, organizer will not be responsible for the visa application.
About the judges of the competition:
1. What will be the judging process?
The JNA Jewellery Design Competition 2018/19 endeavours to run a thorough and rigorous judging process in two stages – preliminary and final. The judges will review all the entries and evaluate each piece of work based on the agreed judging criteria. Those who reach the final stage of the competition will be notified of the details by email. The final result will be released in June 2019.
About the prizes of the competition:
1. What are the prizes of the competition?
Worldwide media coverage, promotions, and invaluable business opportunities will be granted along with the cash prize USD2,000 to grand prize winner.
2. Is it possible to win prizes in all categories?
Yes. Entries of JNA Jewellery Design Competition 2018/19 will be evaluated anonymously, impartially and ethically based on the judging criteria.
About the entries of the competition:
1. If my entries do not qualify for the preliminary stage, is the organizer allowed to use my entries for any other purpose?
The right to the entries belong to the original designer.
2. If I win the competition, can I sell or engage in any business activity with my entries?
The right to the entries belong to the original designer. The Finalised designs will be manufactured into finished products for final judging, hence the finished products will be owned by the manufacturer.
3. Can I submit my previously awarded entries for this competition?
The same design or a new draft of the same design of a winning entry in other competitions will NOT be accepted.
4. On what grounds will the organizer disqualify my entries?
The organizer will disqualify your entries if your entries do not meet the theme or the categories; Submission of previous awarded designs, using inappropriate materials, using others’ designs, or any dishonesty will lead to disqualification without prior notice.
5. What other materials can be included in the entries?
Entries should be using the appropriate material as the predominant material of the piece according to the categories entrants submitted to. No precious stones, ivory, Hawksbill shell or other materials from any endangered animals can be used in your design.
